Pay Scale: RF candidates receive a stipend of Rs. 37,000/- per month for the first two years, plus an annual contingent grant of Rs. 20,000/-. Upon upgrading to SRF, the stipend increases to Rs. 42,000/- per month for the 3rd and subsequent years.
Posts / Profiles: Award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and appointment as Assistant Professor, Appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D., and Admission to Ph.D. only.

Eligibility & Selection
Educational Qualification: Master's Degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% for OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/PwBD/Third gender), or a 4-year/8-semester bachelor's degree with a minimum of 75% marks (5% relaxation for reserved categories).
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
Exam Pattern: The exam consists of three parts (Part A, Part B, and Part C) with a total duration of 180 minutes (03 hours).

Syllabus
Syllabus Coverage: Part A covers General Aptitude, including logical reasoning, graphical analysis, and numerical ability. Part B covers subject-related conventional MCQs. Part C includes higher-order questions testing scientific concepts and analytical application.
